WHO WE ARE, OUR VALUES, OUR STORY, AND OUR FOUNDER
WHO IS

MK CRTV (pronounced creative) was born out of a dream to build a creative agency that was driven by a special mission and vision. In 2020, the dream of MK CRTV was sparked when our founder, Madisen Mayfield, was writing her first book to help faith-based organizations, specifically churches, to make marketing simple. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, a heart for faith-based organizations and leaders, a passion for all creative and business fields, and a love to serve others, Madisen intentionally prayed for the business God would have her to build. Then came the vision of MK CRTV. MK CRTV was officially established in March 2021.

MK CRTV isn't just another marketing agency, communications firm, or graphic design house. Rather, MK CRTV is a creative agency that offers services in all things branding, communications, graphic design, and marketing positioning itself to be a one-stop shop for organizations and leaders seeking professional quality services with proven results at affordable prices. What's great about being a one-stop shop for many is  it allows for a cohesive plan to be built that's completely custom to each organization/person worked with.

We're passionate about equipping and empowering others and to help as many organizations and leaders as possible to leverage their impact with audiences. That's why MK CRTV was built to serve in two ways:

1. Let MK CRTV come work alongside you for any creative project. This frees you to not worry about this side of things and gives you the time you need to devote to helping your audience.

2. Let MK CRTV train and teach you how to do it. This is the heart behind equipping and empowering. Through books, coaching, tutorials, videos, and other resources, MK CRTV seeks to share the knowledge and experience gained over the years to teach others the best tools, methods, and knowledge they need to execute excellent branding, communications, graphic design, and marketing for their organization and/or themselves.

OUR
VALUES

1. Make it EXCELLENT.
2. Make it CREATIVE.
3. Make it IMPACTFUL.
4. Make it GROW.
5. Make it HONORABLY.
6. Make it TIMELESS.
7. Make it TOGETHER.

THE STORY OF

Everyone and every thing has a story and MK CRTV is no different. That's why our name had to be true to who we are and was reflective of not only our heritage but also our future.

Our initials MKC not only represent two of our founder's, Madisen, initials but also the initials of Madisen's parents and brother, the three who pushed her to take the leap of faith and start MK CRTV. Madisen's first and middle name were taken from the initials of both her parents' first names. When the dream of starting a creative agency was born, Madisen knew she not only wanted the word creative somehow in the business name but also because creative started with the letter 'c,' which is the initial of her brother's first name.

CRTV is a different, shortened spelling of the word 'creative' and is reflective of who we want to be and where we're headed. We don't want to be just another agency. We want to be different and unique that helps organizations and leaders make change.

In our logo, you'll see our icon has the shape resembling a lemon. Some of Madisen's fondest memories growing up include lemons from a fresh glass of hand-squeezed lemonade in the summers to being taught to make lemonade when life gives you lemons to playing a game that involved lemonade, which we'll get to in a moment.

The dream of MK CRTV was born when life had thrown Madisen lemons. At a crossroads, Madisen had to decide whether or not she would allow these lemons to make her bitter or if she would make lemonade out of it. Depending on her Christian faith for strength and guidance, Madisen chose to make lemonade. That's what we want to help organizations and leaders do...to make lemonade out of the lemons life throws at us personally and professionally.

Our tagline, "Let's Get to Work and Make It Together," comes from a game Madisen fondly remembers playing as a child that was a charade-like game starting out saying, "bum, bum, bum." While there are many different variations of this charade-like game that stem from a piece by Ralph Waldo Emerson, Madisen's favorite lines were, "What's your trade? Sweet lemonade. Then get to work and make it."

Our trade is helping faith-based organizations and leaders make lemonade when it comes to branding, communications, graphic design, and marketing. We don't let you do it alone either. We say, "let's get to work and make it together!"

OuR FOUNDER

Madisen is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and creative.

Madisen's love of branding, graphic design, marketing, and communications began in middle school when she started learning Adobe Photoshop. Throughout high school, she continued to build her skills through education learned in the classroom, by herself, and through numerous opportunities provided to her by teachers and others in the community. With strong conviction, she entered the church marketing world in her junior year of high school as a graphic design intern. For the remainder of high school and during her undergraduate studies in college, she continued building her skillset as an intern, freelancer, and volunteer for churches, non-profit organizations, and small businesses of all sizes. She is a graduate of Liberty University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Digital Marketing and Advertising and her Master of Arts in Strategic Communication.
